After installing timrbb via the BlackBerry App World or the direct download link http://timr.com/download the timr application is placed automatically in the “Downloads” Folder of your BlackBerry:

You can use the menu item “Move To Folder” to move the timrbb application to the “Home” folder:

Now should see the timrbb application outside of the “Downloads” Folder. By selecting the application icon an calling the menu item “Move” you can move timrbb into the first six elements in the top line of the folder. By doing this the application is available in the start screen:

This allows you to access timr on your BlackBerry the fastest way directly from the start screen.

We are always happy about existing, satisfied timr users leaving a review
We just deployed a new version of timr which includes a lot of updates around reporting and export functions. While the tracking of times already works very well we are currently focusing on how to make the recorded data more useful for our customers. As we stated out often we are always happy about feedback and many of the features included in this version were wishes of our users.
- on the Settings tab in the Administration the following things are now configurable:
- comma or dot used as decimal separator
- character used as separator in the CSV export
- date and time in CSV export split into two columns or not
- parts of hour in work time report shown as minutes or decimal values
- it is now possible to open the dialog for editing a record by double clicking on a row in the table
We hope that this upgrade improves your timr experience – please let us know what else we can do for you!
Just to let you know:
The Windows Mobile client for touch devices is now available at http://timr.com/download/wm. You can directly download it from your device. Please note that it’s in open beta state!
The iPhone client is on the App Store approval, so we are looking forward to offer you our iPhone client on the App Store soon!
We have been providing HTTPS connections since we got out of the beta test but not every user changed its bookmark for timr. So we decided to help you in doing that. All users are now automatically redirected to a secure HTTPS connection – you may not even notice it.
Now not only your login data and payment information is securely transmitted – all the data you save in your timr account is transmitted securely. We respect your privacy and data – and we think a secure connection provided even for our free timr users emphasizes this.
Our Windows Mobile client is almost ready for beta testers. If you’d like to be amoung the first timr Windows Mobile client users, just drop us a line at info@timr.com
Like our BlackBerry client, the Windows Mobile client provides work time tracking, project time tracking and drive log as a native Windows Mobile application. It makes time tracking as easy as on our BlackBerry client.
